    This study aims to determine : (1) Knowing the policy of principals at Taruna Nusantara High School to subjects of History, (2) Knowing the curriculum policyregarding the portion of the placement of the subjects of History, (3) howteachers deliver material and learning models History in high school of TarunaNusantara High School and Senior High School, and (4) how student opinion inHistory teachers the material. The results of the study at both schools led to thefact that Taruna Nusantara High School is promoting subjects as the history ofimportant subjects, subjects using history as a spearhead in the successfulimplementation of special curriculum-based defend the country. Especially inthe formation of character and cultivation of the spirit of nationalism, thestudents really enjoyed how the delivery of interesting material presented bythe teacher of history at this school, teachers use a good individual approach soas to maximize the potential of students.Keywords: Studies, History Learning Model

    Smart Home System Memanfaatkan Infrastruktur Web Service Dengan Kontrol Berbasis Android

    Smart home system merupakan suatu sistem yang dapat digunakan untuk memonitor dan mengendalikan berbagai perangkat elektronik dari jarak jauh dengan menggunakan remote control atau perangkat bergerak. Web service diperlukan pada smart home system sebagai sarana untuk menjalin komunikasi antara perangkat bergerak dengan board mikrokontroler. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan smart home system menggunakan perangkat bergerak pada rangkaian komponen fisik yang terdiri dari 4 buah LED beserta saklarnya yang akan terhubung dengan board mikrokontroler. Board mikrokontroler akan terhubung ke sebuah komputer yang berfungsi sebagai server yang menyediakan layanan web service. Tahap pengujian dari penelitian ini adalah dengan menguji fungsionalitas dan validasi dari akses web service dan sistem secara keseluruhan. Hasil yang diperoleh adalah web service dapat diimplementasikan sebagai salah satu penghubung antara perangkat bergerak dengan board mikrokontroler yang berbeda bahasa pemrograman untuk menjalin komunikasi data

    Identifikasi Perubahan Garis Pantai dan Ekosistem Pesisir di Kabupaten Subang

    ABSTRAKPenelitian ini adalah kajian awal dari valuasi ekonomi atas manfaat dan jasa ekosistem di pesisir Subang. Faktor-faktor utama dalam valuasi adalah keberadaan ekosistem dan perubahan di pesisir, serta manfaat dan jasa ekosistemnya. Estimasi perubahan garis pantai dihitung berdasarkan tumpang susun data satelit Landsat tahun 1988, 1996, 2003, dan 2016. Estimasi menunjukkan terjadi perubahan garis pantai sebesar 8,17 km sejak tahun 1988-2013. Perubahan tersebut didominasi oleh sedimentasi dan abrasi sepanjang pantai. Sedimentasi tertinggi terjadi di Kecamatan Pusakanagara (869,9 ha) dan Blanakan (725,4 ha), serta abrasi tertinggi terjadi di Kecamatan Legonkulon (885,8 ha). Ekosistem alami yang berubah dan dimanfaatkan secara intensif di pesisir Subang adalah kawasan estuari dan mangrove. Sehingga mengakibatkan penurunan fungsi ekologi pada ekosistem tersebut. Adapun lahan tambak sebagai ekosistem buatan yang menggantikan kawasan mangrove, hanya berfungsi sebagai penyedia kebutuhan pangan. Penelitian ini menunjukkan perlunya valuasi ekonomi atas lahan mangrove versus budidaya tambak di Kecamatan Legonkulon, serta kawasan estuari yang berfungsi sebagai sarana transportasi di Kecamatan Pusakanagara.Kata kunci: garis pantai, ekosistem pesisir, erosi, sedimentasi, SubangABSTRACTThis research is a preliminary study for economic valuation of coastal services and goods in Subang Regency. Main factors in the valuation are ecological existing, changing, services and goods of coastal ecosystem. Coastline changes estimation was based on the overlay of Landsat satellite image at year of 1988, 1996, 2003, and 2016. Estimation shows since year of 1988 to 2013 there is changing of coastline around 8,17 km. The changes are dominantly caused by coastline sedimentation and abrasion. Higher sedimentation occured in Pusakanagara (869,9 ha) and Blanakan (725,4) Subdistrict, while highest abrasion occured in Legonkulon (885,8 ha) Subdistrict. Estuary and mangrove forests are natural ecosystem that had been used intensively and changing very excessively in this region. These changing causes degradation in functions of these ecosystems. Meanwhile, changing of mangrove forest into aquaculture only provides food. This research shows the necessity in economic valution of mangrove forest versus aquaculture in Legonkulon Subdistrict, and also estuary as transportation function in Pusakanagara Subdistrict.Keywords: coastline, coastal ecosystem, erosion, sedimentation, Suban

    An Overview of the Curcumin-Based and Allicin Bioactive Compounds as potential treatment to SARS-CoV-2 with structural bioinformatics tools

    The recent outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 across the globe and the absence of a specific cure against the disease lead the scientific community to investigate some alternative indigenous treatments. SARS-CoV-2 is the virus responsible for the coronavirus ailment 2019 (COVID-19). This virus has 4 auxiliary proteins namely the S (spike), E (envelope), M (membrane), and N (nucleocapsid) proteins. The main proteases and RNA dependent RNA polymerase are also essential structures by which the virus replicates and survives. Each of these proteins are structures of the virus that are potential targets for drugs which are leads in the drug discovery process of any drug for the virus. Currently available treatments are not specific to the disease and therefore carry unwanted adverse effects that can be highly dangerous and sometimes fatal. Many of these treatments are supplementary in nature or based on repurposed drugs from other viral outbreaks. Alternatives of conventional drugs are required to control the spread and severity of the disease. Allicin, curcumin and their derivatives have been researched for their antiviral property and shown to have good binding affinity towards SARS-CoV-2 structures essential in their survival, especially the main proteases and RNA dependent RNA polymerases. The structural bioinformatics tools have elicited methods to predict the bioactivity of the natural product-based compounds. Apart from the beneficial medication that they offer, natural products carry along other advantages for the current pandemic situation in terms of supply, logistics, and affordability
